Designed in early 2006 the Beanie cell holder for the ‘Classic Inspiration’
rebreather quickly became popular due to its adaptability and ease of cell
changes. Designed to take five cells the holder is made of two parts, the first
is permanently attached to the head and the second (which holds the cells)
pushes into this. Working with narked at 90 we launched
this product in the summer of 2006 and it has become the standard interface to
allow for 4th cells, HUDs and secondary displays to be attached to
the Classic Inspiration. Taking up to five cells and two interface cable the
Beanie cell holder can be set up in many different configurations.
Following the success of the Beanie cell holder we worked with narked at 90 to develop a 4th cell holder for the Vision
range of rebreathers. This cell holder is different from the beanie holder as
APD had changed the design of the head on the Vision so the two part holder was
no longer required. The 4th cell holder supports up to four cells and
one cable interface to support either a fourth cell or a secondary display.
The Inspiration Chassis is an ultra light weight travel chassis for the
Inspiration / Evolution rebreathers. Developed in late 2005 it was specifically
designed for air travel to keep luggage weights within airline allowances.
Weighing in at only 1KG it is 3KG lighter than the standard Inspiration case and
1KG lighter than any other case / frame on the market
