Nailsworth

An epic final Descent

To get to a mega descent, you need to climb, this ride starts with a big road climb out of Nailsworth up onto Minchinhampton. There is a variety of terrain including the Macmillan way, going along it the opposite way than in the Crudwell ride there are a couple of tracks that this ride shares with the Crudwell ride. Some of the trails on this ride can be overgrown especially the further reaches of the Macmillan way as it is not that well travelled, there are ways of avoiding should you desire. The final descent although only a few hundred meters long drops down rocky, root, streamy trails between trees, pick a line any line and go for it.

Distance 19km
Time 1.5-2.5hrs
Climbing 350m
Starting location Nailsworth
Pubs, cafes Variety in Nailsworth, plus Tesco
Parking Nailsworth car park
